Service in His Kingdom

 

James L. Wade is a native of Columbus, Ohio and the 3rd child of John & Colleen Wade. James has two brothers and two sisters.

 

James attended Columbus Public Schools and his education includes; A Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Ohio Christian University (May 2005), Rhema Christian Center Ministerial Alliance Graduate (August 2005), Certificate in Accounting from Columbus Adult Education, and has a Computer Programming certificate from Electronic Computer Programming Institute.

 

James retired as a Sr. Internal Investigator in the Enterprise Threat and Intelligence Mgmt. at Discover Financial Services, and has worked at Discover for 32 years in various positions. 

 

James has 29 years’ experience as a volunteer with the Ohio Department of Corrections. James previously served for 10 years as the coordinator for Rhema Christian Center Prison Ministry. The ministry served in 16 prisons in Ohio and one in West Virginia. The ministry also collaborated with Friends Ministry (serving meals and providing clothing to the homeless). During the Christmas season RCC Prison Ministry collaborated with Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree ministry. The ministry provides gifts to children who are underprivileged due to the incarceration of their parents. James served as the author of a quarterly newsletter called “The Redeemer” which was sent inside prison to encourage men and women. 

 

James currently serves as a teaching instructor with the Rhema Christian Center Ministerial Alliance Team who purpose is to equip those called by God into Five-fold ministry offices. James has over 26 plus years in ministry service and public speaking.

 

In October 2005 James and his wife Cassandra established and incorporated Restoration Christian Ministries as a 501c3 non-profit organization. In March 2006, “The House of Bethel ®” was established as a transitional home for women being released from prison. This home helps women transition back into society by providing affordable housing, mentoring, life skills and accountability.

 

James was licensed by Dr. Lafayette Scales, Apostle of Rhema Christian Center in November 1998 and was Ordained in May 2007 by Apostle Scales. Restoration Christian Ministries was commissioned by Apostle Scales in September 2009. 

 

James and Cassandra where married for 24 years until her death in 11/2021. James' desire to help enrich, inspire, encourage, mentor, train and equip those individuals that God has placed his path. James enjoys reading, music, computer technology; sports such as fishing, basketball, football, bowling, horseshoes, and gardening.
